About the Speaker
Dr. Alfatih Osman is a Food Safety Expert at the Ministry of Public Health, Qatar, with more than 20 years of experience in radiochemistry and food safety monitoring. He leads the radiation unit at the Food Laboratories Section, overseeing ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliance and developing methods for detecting radioactive contaminants, and coordinating technical cooperation projects with the IAEA. Dr. Osman is licensed as a radiation protection expert by Qatar’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, he is actively involved in research, project management, and scientific publications. At this conference, he will present food safety department experience and response in the State of Qatar during the Iran–Israel conflict.
